Hey everyone!!! I know it has been forever once again. But I'm back. We have been busy lately but it has been a blast!!! Paige is finishing up dance for this year. She has become a good little dancer and loves every moment of it. Her last performances are May 19th @ 6 @ the Civic in Idaho Falls and then on the 21st @ 7:30 at Hillcrest High School. Anyone is welcome to come and watch. I'm sooooo impressed with Infinity Dance Studio!! Paige is also finishing up with Kindergarten. I think she is ready to be done with school, but she will miss it too.

Kody and Dani are busy at home with me. They keep me on my toes constantly. Kody has been learning lots, he is writing is name and knows his colors and numbers. He can't wait to go to Preschool next year and in some ways neither can I :) Dani is just a sponge. She is growing up way too fast. She loves to play pretend and sing.

Dustin is busy working as normal, his hours are picking up so that is always nice. Right now he is looking foward to the first part of June and the end of July. We get to go to Yellowstone and Lagoon on those days and he is really excited!!!

As for me, I've started doing the 5ks again. I know crazy me, but I'm actually enjoying them. I'm also busy running my Mary Kay business and enjoying it also. I love meeting new people and making their day with a facial or a spa treatment. It just makes me feel good that they feel good. And it has been really nice cause I've been able to work when I want to so I can still spend time with my family!!!

Well I will quit talking but my goal for the rest of the month is to at least post once a week. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately :)

I'm so excited!! A couple of my friends have started a website to where it is a place for crafts, activities and giveaways.

Mostly giveaways will be featured on the facebook fan page is what they have posted. I know both of these gals and they are awesome!!!

So I didn't fall off the face of the earth, even though it seems like it. We have been busy, and I just haven't taken the time to update this blog. I'm going to attempt again to keep on top of updating. Since the last time I posted Paige has entered into kindergarten and made a dance team. She LOVES both of them. We are just finishing up with spud harvest, and she can't wait to get started back in school. Kody turned 4 the end of September and learning lots from Paige. She comes home and tells him what she did at school. He is a very, extremely active boy that loves to help out in anyway that he can. Dani turned 2 in April and this week she is getting potty training down. So far she has been the easiest. She is a cutie and growing fast, the only bad thing is that she knows it and thinks that everyone else should know. Dustin is still working at Burns Concrete in Idaho Falls. He keeps pretty busy, but enjoys being busy. As for me I get the chance to stay home with the kids and have all the duties of being mom and wife. The biggest change for me is that I have been working hard with losing weight since probably about May. I'm down almost 50lbs. I'm feeling great. I still have a long way to go but I feel that I have a good start.

Well I will not bore you anymore, but soon I will post some updated pictures of us and can't wait to hear from anyone.

Where has the summer gone?

I'm back. I figured it was probably about time to update our blog. This summer has gone so fast, but we have enjoyed every minute of it!!! The kids have gone to the zoo a couple of times, the monkeys are always putting on a show for us. We also got to take Paige & Kody to Lagoon, where they jumped from ride to ride with absolutely no fear. It was really fun to watch the excitement in their eyes each time they got on a ride. We have also been to Yellowstone & Island Park couple of times. You would think that maybe the kids would get sick of going through Yellowstone, but every time we go they are more excited to go. The only problem now is that Paige thinks that every time we go we have to come home with either a new stuff animal, a t-shirt, or something of that nature. We try to explore different areas of the park, we have even gone hiking a little bit (it is kind of hard with Dani, but she is wanting to be right there too). Dustin is still busy working, in fact this last month has been really hard for him. I think all the long hours are getting to him (about 80hrs/wk). But it pays the bills for now. I'm growing in Mary Kay and loving every minute of it. We (Dustin & I) are shooting to have a Mary Kay car by the end of the year!!! It will be a brand new Pontiac G6 in platinum. And also I'll be taking over the bills by then too!! I'll post some pictures of our adventures this summer and I'm going to make it a goal to post something every week even if it is a short hi we are still around. Have an awesome day!!!

So the kids finally were able to enjoy the awesome weather that we have had over the last few days. While they were playing in the water I got some cute pictures and also got some sun which helped out my white legs and farmer tan arms.

Hey, well as I look outside today and see all the clouds and the wind blowing through the trees it makes me a little depressed. I have been looking so forward to the summer, especially that means sending my kids outside!! But lately we have had weather in which we have all suffered with staying inside. But to get off that note. Everything is going great here. We are now in the process of hopefully finding a place of our own which will be nice to be under our own roof again. We really appreciate my parents for letting us stay with them. We will be renting at first for awhile and we are looking anywhere between Firth and Idaho Falls so if anyone knows any great places let us know. Mary Kay is doing awesome!!! I have gained a self-confidence and the money is a great bonus. I have met some many wonderful women that I'm grateful to say are my friends.
Since the last time I posted we went to Yellowstone National Park with the kids and had a great time. We stayed in Island Park and then just took one full day to drive around the park. The kids loved that they were able to be free in the back of the suburban and look from window to window at all the animals. For Dustin and me it was just fun to watch their reaction to all the sites that they were seeing. I will have pictures posted soon. As for now TTFN.

So I really have good intentions on writing on this blog at least every week but as you can see I have had some difficulties. Everything is pretty much the same in the our neck of the woods. Dustin is working, I'm watching kids and running my Mary Kay business, and well the kids they run us! Dani just turned one on April 6th and she was walking a couple of days before that. Now she is into everything and she can say please (in sign language). It has been pretty cool. My brother and his wife have been teaching their daughter sign language like please, thank you more, milk, and sorry. It makes it a lot easier to communicate with the little kids. As for Paige and Kody they are just normal very active kids. It has been really nice when the weather is good that I'm able to send them outside that they can use up some of their energy but it has never ran out.

Other than that we have been enjoying life and are planning on going on several road trips this summer. We start on Friday when we head to Logan and off to see one of my former roommates and good friend Ellen. The on the 14 we are headed down to Provo to see Chad off as he enters the MTC he is heading for Ventura, California. While we are down there we figured that we would take the kids to Hogle Zoo. That is what I'm excited about. That is just a few things that are going on and I will do better with keeping this blog updated. For TTFN.

Happy Easter!!
I hope everyone had a good Easter. We did. The kids were really excited since this was really the first time that we had done the easter bunny deal. Saturday Paige and Kody particpated in the easter egg hunt in Firth. Paige came away with 6 eggs that she got all by her self ( she came back and said that she beat all the girls and boys to get them) Paige was very proud. Kody got 2, however he had a disadvantage, Chad (my brother) had him in the next group up so most of the kids were 3-4 years older than him. But we still had fun. The kids got to color eggs which was a mess good thing we had newspaper under everything. Then Sunday came the girls wore their new dresses (Paige had green & Dani had purple) and Kody wore is new shirt. After church we came home and dinner with everyone and played games until it got dark and it was bedtime.

Hey everyone. Well I did it. I said I wouldn't put I did. I started my Mary Kay business and I'm loving it!!! Dustin is even happy with what I have accomplished so that even makes it better. I've only been in for a week but things are going really well. I've meant my goal and striving to do more. They have come out with new products that are AWESOME!!!! The best thing is now I can make some extra cash that I can play around with and help out with bills. And doing all this around my time so I can be with the kids. Long time, of not writing

So it has been awhile since I have written anything on this blog. If I remember right it was November. Well a quick update of what has been happening. On November 16th Paige turned 4 years old which really makes me feel old. She had a great birthday and go lots of stuff. I started to work for my mom during November and December to help out with the books, which also helped out for Christmas. We had a wonderful, white Christmas. It has been awhile since we have had one and it was great!!! Around that time we decided that we were going to sell our house. So on the 3rd of January, we put our house on the market and on the 5th we moved in to with my parents. We figured that it would be easier to sell the house with out 3 kids running around crazy. Well, with less than a month on the market. We can consider our house sold!!! YEAH!!!! We sign on the 22nd of this month. The next objective is to find a place that we like that is within our price range. So we will see how long that takes.

Also some more exciting news, is that we get to go to Island Park this weekend. We haven't been all winter so we are pumped to go. Paige and Kody can't wait either all they talk about is going sledding and playing in the snow. The rest of my family will be coming also, so it will be fun to play games and just hang out for a few days.

Anyways enough of me going on and on. All I can say is that we have been blessed in the past few months and we are very grateful for those blessings. Some of those blessing is have great friends that have been there to talk to and laugh with. To them Thank You!!

Here are some pictures that we had taken right before Christmas. Lots have changed since then Dani is crawling and almost walking. Kody is pretty much the same with is grin and eyes that get everyone. Paige is getting bigger and smarter as she grows, I have decieded that she is going to be a supermodel when she gets older. She can pose and hold a straight face. I have lost about 10 pounds and trying to lose more. Dustin is still Dustin a kid at heart!!

Halloween Fun!!!

Well, halloween has come and gone and all I have to say is thank goodness. The only problem with that is Christmas is right around the corner. This year for Halloween we went all out. We carved pumpkins, decorated our house, and got dressed up and end up with toooooo much candy. Other than that our life has been actually somewhat slow. (Imagine that, 3 kids and life being slow) Dustin has just been working about 70 hour weeks. It makes a nice paycheck, but he is go a lot and comes home exhausted. As for the kids and I, we have been trying to keep busy. We have been getting the yard ready for the winter by raking leaves, picking up tree branches that have fallen, and putting away summer toys until next year. The weather has actually been quite good this last week so we have gotten a lot done. As for the trick or treating that went on last night, we first went to Idaho Falls and stood in line for almost an hour at the trick or treat street before we even able to get in (which we will not be doing again, total waste of time) after that we went to my parents house to rest for awhile and then we attacked the trunk or treat that their ward was having. And that is where all the candy came from. Paige did really good with going up and saying trick or treat, Kody on the other hand was just holding his bag out with a face that was saying give me that candy. However, when it came to anyone with a scary mask on Kody wouldn't go near them. Dani, well she was just there to be cute bunny that growled at everything and one. It was really funny. After the kids got their candy we all went back to my parents house and had homemade pizza. We had a great time, but we were also excited to come home and go to bed!! The only problem is that we have all this candy in our house, the kids wanting it all right now, and me trying to keep off the sweets has been a task. Anyways we had a blast and hope that everyone else did too!!

Our Halloween adventure. Paige and Kody were helping Dustin clean out the pumpkins. Paige had to be miss independent and do it all by herself. Kody touched it once and really didn't do much more except to watch.

Island Park

Well this weekend we were able to go to the cabin in Island Park. It was really nice to get away and not have to worry about anything. But I guess we missed one huge storm that rolled thru eastern Idaho. It looked like a tornado hit, but it was just a really wet snow and it made branches from all the trees break. These pictures are ones that we took of some tree branches that broke up at a house up the street from ours.

These are some pictures that we took at the cabin. Hailey (my brother's little girl) is giving Dani a kiss. They are about 4 months apart and right now Hailey is loving it because Dani isn't moving as fast as Hailey and Hailey can keep up with Dani instead of trying to keep up with Paige and Kody.

Kody finally turned 2 on Sept. 26. Now we can finally say that he is in his terrible 2s. He got lots of noise toys from grandparents, Dustin is ready to pull the batteries already. Paige wanted to be part of the action and she had a hard time just watching, but her turn is coming soon.

As an update to our car situation. We now have two working and running vehicles. Dustin changed the fuel pump in the tahoe and the car well it decided to run again. He played around with some of the wiring and we have had any trouble since. Talk about wierd, but I will take whatever we can get.

Car Trouble!!!!

Well we had one eventful weekend. It all started when Dustin got paid this week and because of Labor day the check was smaller than what we really needed to take care of bills this week. I just hate that. Saturday morning came along and he had to go to work. The only problem was that both vehicles decided that they were not going to start, in fact, I think they were declaring a strike. Dustin worked all Saturday to get at least one vehicle running. We found out that the fuel pump is what caused the problem in the Tahoe, so we got that changed. So as of right now we have one working vehicle. We are not quite sure what is wrong with the car. For as the rest of the week it has just been a normal week. My brother and sister (Chad & Jennifer) got back Monday night from working in Montana and are done for the season unless something comes up. Paige and Kody got to play with their uncle chad and they loved it!!! Dani wasn't sure what to think but there is still time before he leaves. This weekend is going to be a busy one for the family. Friday is Dustin's 10th class reunion out in Rockland and also Friday night and Saturday my mom is doing a girls night. My dad and chad are out elk hunting all this week so my mom decided that the girls are going to get together and do whatever we want. Fun huh.

What a week

Well, it is fair time again and the city of Blackfoot is packed. Last Saturday I took the kids up the street to watch the parade, where of course they got tons of candy and flyers. I even got a gym membership for a week (that is what I liked). Sunday was the last day I got to see my grandma & grandpa Hopkins for a while or at least 18 months. They are headed to Alanta, Georgia to serve in the temple. I know they will do a great job!!! As for the rest of the week, we have been mostly staying home. I didn't have any softball games this week so that was somewhat nice to get a break. We survived at the fair Wednesday night with all 3 kids (that was a chore). Kody didn't want to leave the petting zoo and Paige wanted to go on the rides and have any toy that she saw in site. Dani was just content with sitting in the stroller and looking up at the sky and ceilings of the different buildings that we went in. And then that bring us up to this weekend. I hope that we can get some work done around the house, but I won't get my hopes up.
